A certified translation is a translated document accompanied by a signed Certificate of Accuracy from the translator or translation company. USCIS requires all foreign-language documents to be submitted with a certified English translation. Our translations include this certificate at no extra charge.
What will you deliver to me?
A word-for-word translation with similar formatting to your source document on uscis Translate letterhead including our ATA member number, phone number, and address with a signed and stamped Certificate of Translation Accuracy delivered as a non-editable PDF file. Notarization and hard copies are optional.
How long does translation take?
Turnaround time for 1-3 page documents (up to 750 words) is estimated at 24 hours or less with standard turnaround and 12 hours or less with expedited turnaround. How are pages counted?
